There are eight different regular symbols here (we’ll talk about the Scatter in a second) and you’ll have a winning combination if you get three or more identical symbols in a line, from left to right. There’s no Wild symbol in this game.
At the beginning of your session, you’ll be awarded five treasure chest maps. Keep an eye on how many more you receive during the game because they could guide you towards some big wins.

There is no shortage of bonus rounds to keep you interested and provide you with a route to finding riches to reward your bravery when stepping into the unknown. Here’s how they all work.

Two Scatters

The Scatter symbol is the compass. You’ll soon find out what getting three of them does but getting two is pretty good as well. It will activate the Pick and Click Chest Game where you’ll win one of these four prizes.

Map collection

When you start the game as a new player, you’ll be awarded two Summit Shrine maps and one of each of the others: Highlandgate, Jungle Ruins, Desert Tomb and Templar Grave.
Each of the five maps appear under one of the five reels and additional maps can only appear under their own reel.
Five identical maps activate the 10 Jackpot Free Spins and as a bonus, you’ll also be awarded 1 starting gem.

Jackpot Free Spins

3 scatters will bring you Jackpot Free Spins where all regular wins are paid out with a 3x multiplier. But that’s not where the real big bucks are won. You get those by collecting five of the same colour gems which wins you the Jackpot, no less.
There are no Maps to be collected during this round, nor are the Scatter symbols in place.

Treasure Hunt Bonus game

This one is triggered only if you get two Scatters, go to the Pick and Click Chest Game and pick the Chest which activates this round.
You’ll have to decide whether you want to play as Sam, or as Bear (no relation to Bear Grylls but he’s cut from the same cloth).
Sam tends to get you better prizes when she’s successful but she’s not as successful as Bear in terms of actually getting a prize at all. Bear has a higher strike rate in terms of opening chests but they tend to have prizes of a lower value.
You’ll also have to choose which of the three chests you want to try to win: safe, risky or very risky. The riskier the choice, the greater the chance of there being a map or relic and of a big coin payout - but these chests are harder to open.
Your character has three tries at attempting to cross the river in a bid to get the chest. There are three levels in this round; at each level you go up, the prizes are more valuable.

Sunken City Free Spins

You get these by collecting 5 relics, which in turn are found in the Treasure Hunt Bonus Game.
Here any line win has a mammoth 10x multiplier added to it and you’ll start the round with one of each of the different gems. Get five of them and you know what that leads to.
