Senior Market Research Analyst

The Market Research Analyst is a member of the Marketing Intelligence team and works closely with the marketing department. In this role, you will be collecting data on customers and competitors to provide clear and actionable insights on promotions, product features and overall marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a great understanding of the online gambling industry, a data driven mindset and the ability to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

 RESPONSIBILITIES
– Collect, interpret and develop actionable insights on industry, competitive and market trends
– Contribute to sharing of best practices
– Develop an understanding of competitors’ goals, strategies and target consumer
– Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
– Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
– Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends and report back to marketing and product teams

REQUIREMENTS
– Strong communication and presentation skills
– Knowledge of primary and secondary research and competitive intelligence methodologies and techniques
– Solid understanding of the gambling industry
– Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large data sets, identify insights, and synthesize how these insights impact business decisions
– Strong SQL skills
– Fast-paced, independent and critical thinker

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
– Bachelors/Masters degree in a qualitative field (e.g. economics, mathematics, statistics)
– 3+ years of experience in strategic analysis, competitive/market intelligence and trends analysis
